In this update to the sourcegraph series, we’ve focused on making it easier to find what you need and fixing some of the more common issues.

We’ve also added a new feature to help you speed up your work: inline search. Just type part of a project name or file name in the search bar and hit enter, and sourcegraph will take you right to that item. For example, if you want to find all the files for a project called “Hello World”, just type “Hello World” in the search bar and hit enter.

You can also use inline search to quickly find code snippets or documentation for particular lines of code. Just highlight any text and press Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F on Mac) to open the Find cursor. Then type one or more characters from the highlighted text, and sourcegraph will return all matching items in the document.

To make working with sourcegraph even more productive, we’ve added support for multiline comments. Simply start a comment with two forward slashes (//), then paste your comment into the text editor of your choice.sourcegraph will automatically wrap it into a multiline comment!
